To apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV aka visitor visa) on paper, you must- satisfy a visa officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay,
- show that you have enough money to maintain yourself and your family members in Canada and to return home,
- not intend to work or study in Canada unless authorized to do so with a work permit or study permit,
- be law abiding and have no record of criminal activity,
- not be a risk to the security of Canada,
- provide any additional document requested by the officer to establish your admissibility, and
- be in good health (complete a medical examination if required).

You just need a new visitor visa if you want to return before your permit expires. But you should have a plan of what you will do when the permit expires, as CBSA will ask you.

If it’s just a normal visitor visa application, then both of you can write and sign the invitation letter. If this is a Super Visa application it’s more complicated because your husban inviting his in-laws might not be considered legitimate. But you are not eligible until you have PR.
I renewed my passport just now with my married name.But I got seperated with my husband some 6 years back in california but I have not filed divorce in India.Now for canadian immigration what I should do?
You either have to use the name on your identitty documents for the application or you have to do what’s necessary to change your name on those documents before you apply.

If you are married your husband can apply for an open work permit to accompany you on your work permit. If you are not married he cannot do that.
