I recently received my PR for Canada, I did a short landing in December 2016 and returned back to India in January 2017 after 13 days stay as I wanted to wrap-up my all the tasks in my home country before permanently moving to Canada. My relatives in Canada have received my PR card, will there be any issues if I ask them to courier my card to India or applying for PRTD will be a better option.I am concerned about Canadian government confiscating my PR card if detected leaving Canada. As i have heard that new PR cards are RFID cards and can be detected through RFID readers.

They can courier it to you. The Canadian government cannot and will not detect your card and seize it. It’s possible the package could be opened upon entering India, however. If it gets lost in the mail, you’ll have to apply for a PRTD.
