I got married with Canadian citizen outside of Canada sponsored to come to Canada 6 years ago we didn’t resisted our marriage and never lived together, my marital status in CRA is single and when i apply for my citizenship I checked as never married and i obtain my citizenship. How to check my marital status in Canada? and I single or Married?
You are married. Your tax status, nor your citizenship application, do not have any bearing on your actual marriage. If it was a legal marriage, you are married. If you want to get married again, you will have to get a divorce first.
