Every site I goes to tells me about simplified passport renewals and that my daughter can’t use this system because she was under 16 for her original passport – nowhere does it tell me what is required when the simplified renewal can’t be used. Please tell me.

As per Passport Canada guidelines to be eligible for the simplified renewal application you must have been at least 16 years of age at the time of your previous application.

To apply for a new passport you would need to complete the ?Adult Passport Application form (16 years and over): PPTC 153.

If your daughter is under 16 years you require the following application: PPTC 155.
